Mmmmmm, How to dascribe today? Awful.

If yesterday was the longer day ever, today is the worst day ever. I feel a real zombie, it’s really difficult to be engaged in a deep conversation because it’s difficult to focus on things. I take the opportunity to clean my house, in this case no problem. Moreover sometime I feel a bit of nausea and I’m a bit cold. After each naps I don’t feel really energized, just a bit better to continue for the next 3.5 hours.

Hey here we are ;)

Summary of the day: honestly it’s difficult to remember what belongs to yesterday and what belongs to today, I’m living in cycles not days, may be I should start writing post per cycle. One thing is sure, today is the longest day ever, at 12.30 PM I did so many things that seemed to be already evening. The exciting of the first day is not so strong, today I am realizing that this is hard.

Polyphasic sleep experiment – day one

Hi all.

 I have completed my first day of poliphasic sleep, or better I completed my first 6 cycles: 2am-6am, 6am-10am, 10am-2pm, 2pm-6pm, 6pm-10pm, 10pm-2am, sleeping at each cycle 30 mins. I don’t know if it has any sense talking in term of days right now, since my mind, my metabolism and my body think in term of cycle. Today I feel a bit strange, my mood is a bit up and down, I feel happy and sad at the same time.

Polyphasic Sleep Experiment

One week ago my rommate Sasha introduced to me the polyphasic sleep concept. It is a sleeping pattern that is different than the monophasic one ( like the one that we are used to). 

In the monophasic sleep we sleep once during the day (usually at night) and we are awake the rest of the time. The polyphasic sleep instead is based on the fact that we can split the time that we sleep in more parts of the day, enjoy more our sleep and make it more efficient.
